Through the texts I read, the things I researched, the discussions I had, and the project I completed, I learned the importance of the culture that around us. Because of the culture shock, we must studymore cultures to communicate easily. I have compared with the Chinese culture and western culture after the culture iceberg that I had never touched before. Also, I know all kinds of folk culture from different countries by other students. Actually, my Aha moment was pop culture. I just knew iphone is pop culture. I didn't know that what the subculture is. I have learned the different cultures and I use it to communicate with other people and make more friends. From this unit, I think the essence of the culture makes people that come from other countries can understand each other. In a word, culture has become important in my life.
